Positions Available:

Drivers: Solo Truck and Truck & Transfer

Position Summary:

As a valued member of our team, your primary responsibility is to safely drive dump truck to transport and dump materials, such as sand, gravel, crushed rock and asphalt. Pull levers or turn crank to tilt body and dump contents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of proper equipment operation including various gears, levers and special attachments.
  • Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas etc. during pre and post trip inspections.
  • Responsible for keeping truck clean and in good working order.
  • Follow all DOT regulations.
  • Keep proper records and document daily activities.
  • Exercise good judgement and attention to detail.
  • Cooperate and promote a team concept with all other company employees.
  • Required to follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Ready and willing to preform other tasks and duties assigned by Truck Boss.

Requirements:

  • Class A or Class B CDL
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Experience with driving a Dump Truck
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Dedication to safety
  • Ability to do basic math and follow detailed verbal and written instruction
  • Possess a strong work ethic, positive attitude and an ability to work in a team environment

  • Overtime work required

Water Truck Driver

Position Summary:

As a valued member of our team, your primary responsibility is to safely operate a water truck. You will water pits, fill rollers and oversee dust control.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate machines safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect, clean, and maintain equipment. Conduct pre-shift and post-shift inspections and report any concerns to the Foreman.
  • Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor on roads, highways, residential and commercial construction projects.
  • Ability to drive and operate equipment under varying working conditions.
  • Keep proper records and document daily activities.
  • Exercise good judgement and attention to detail.
  • Work long/flexible hours including weekends.
  • Cooperate and promote a team concept with all other company employees.
  • Required to follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Ready and willing to perform other tasks and duties assigned by Foreman.

Requirements:

  • Class A or Class B CDL
  • Good attendance record is required
  • High School diploma or equivalent

Pave Crew Member

Position Summary:

As a valued member of our team, your primary responsibility is to work to place the hot mix to the right thickness and evenness in the construction, maintenance, and repair of roads, highways, driveways, parking lots and other job sites.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Observe distribution of paving material to adjust machine settings or material flow and indicate low spots for crew to add material.
  • Operate machines safely and efficiently to spread, smooth and level asphalt on roads.
  • Safe placement of materials via shoveling and raking.
  • Set up Paver and Screed.
  • Inspect, clean, maintain and repair equipment. Conduct pre-shift inspections and report any concerns to the Foreman.
  • Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor on roads, highways, residential and commercial construction projects.
  • Assist in patching asphalt.
  • Ability to drive and operate equipment under varying working conditions.
  • Keep proper records and document daily activities.
  • Exercise good judgement and attention to detail.
  • Work long/flexible hours including nights and weekends.
  • Cooperate and promote a team concept with all other company employees.
  • Required to follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Ready and willing to perform other tasks and duties assigned by Foreman.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license (Class A CDL preferred)
  • Good attendance record is required
  • Field experience with Grading or Paving and familiarity with equipment is preferred. We are, however, willing to train the right person.
